2008 Super Mission Saturday

An Extraordinary Task for Ordinary Men!

Saturday, February 23, 2008
Marietta First UMC, Marietta, GA

Presented by the United Methodist Men of the North Georgia Conference.

Keynote Speaker, Jeannine Brabon

Jeannine is the daughter of OMS International missionaries Harold and Margaret Brabon and grew up in Columbia, South America.  Though few dared to visit Bellavista, Medelĺn's maximum-security prison noted for daily murders, Jeannine and a team of Colombian evangelists carried the Gospel inside.  As a result, many lives have been transformed and the murders have dissipated.  In 1992 Jeannine began the Bellavista Prison Bible Institute.  Through this discipleship program, over 400 prisoners have graduated and now minister to other inmates all across the nation in the penitentiaries where they are.
Jeannine is a professor of Biblical Hebrew at the OMS seminary in Medelĺn, Columbia, South America.  She translated William LaSor’s two-volume Hebrew grammar and lessons into Spanish.  She is also involved in evangelism, discipleship, and training national church leadership.  She currently serves in leadership with Prison Fellowship Colombia in the regional office of Antioquia.
